Dungeons and Dragons (Tabletop)

Dungeons and Dragons (Tabletop) In-Person

Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a fantasy role-playing game (RPG) where players work together to create a story and go on adventures in a fictional world. The game is usually played indoors with players seated around a table. In D&D, players take on the roles of characters in a medieval fantasy world. Each player chooses a race, such as human, elf, or dwarf, and a class, such as fighter or rogue. They also allocate points to attributes that determine their character's effectiveness. One player, the Dungeon Master (DM), acts as the narrator and rulekeeper, creating the story and describing what the players see and hear. D&D was created in 1974 by American game designers Ernest Gary Gygax and David Arneson.
